Midsumma Ends
The Melbourne Midsumma festival ends and what an exciting festival we had this year. Carnival started us off and was a huge success. With our larger stall we were able to accommodate more groups and more space to chill out away from the sun and rain. We welcome all the new members who signed up on the day and thank all groups and individuals that helped prepare and look after the stall on the day.
We closed off Midsumma with an amazing Pride March where again all multicultural groups marched in unison to celebrate our diversity and ethnicity on the day. The weather and the crowd made it a joyful day and after the waiting and marching we had time to enjoy the festivities in the Gardens. Thanks to the members of I Ragazzi for putting on a great spread for everyone in the gardens and maybe next year all groups can get together to do the same.
Once again thanks to everyone who helped out during Midsumma and lets look forward to an even better Midsumma in 2011.
